In March and April, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Florida
Comprehensive Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single entry
point for all counties in Florida, where collected databases would be stored.
In addition, the databases would be indexed and cross-linked, so that even
if an individual were found in more than one county, they could be located
in the index. |
Volunteers Needed
We are always in search of help from on-line visitors. If you can provide
information of Sumter County ie. documents, stories, pictures, or
look up assistance, please notify us via e-mail. It is necessary that any
submission be your own work, if it's from another source, a copyright
release is required from the original writer.
