Ravine Gardens State Park is a beautiful serene place to visit. A 3 mile road around
the top of the ravine is great for hiking or running. The area has exercise stops for
those who wish to do more than walk or run, picnic tables, kid's playgrounds,
covered eating area for a group, an outdoor amphitheater and a building for
meetings. Parking is permitted outside the gates or in many areas along the
inside road. Even a gift shop if you are so impressed with what you have
seen you want to take a momento home. Don't forget the camera.
There is a wonderful swinging bridge that spans the ravine.
The walls of the ravine are planted with azaleas in every
color. Come visit in late winter to see them in all
their glory.
