some of her children. She is in the 1880 Putnam Co. census listed with
her daughter, Sharlot age 29, and Sharlot's children: Olive age 6;

- I am searching for information on Allen (Alan) LEWIS and his wife
Annie DOWNING LEWIS who lived in Crescent City from about 1900 to 1913.
He came there from someplace in N.C. While in Crescent City they had
three children.The oldest being Clyde born in 1910, Henry Grady about
1911, and Laura in 1913. He left FL and moved to Bulloch County GA
sometime around 1914. These were my grandparents and this is everything
I know about them, they didn't leave much of a trail. Allen was a mean
man and his children never asked any questions about where he came from
out of fear of him. If anyone has any information I would greatly
appreciate it. Thanks.

only thing I know about him is that he supposedly worked at a large
