Ruby Holley

       Ruby grew up around the Groveland-Mascotte area and was the daughter of James F. and Nancy Jane Sowell.

         A former student said, "She was a wonderful teacher and when he had to move to Leesburg, he went kicking and screaming because he didn't want to leave Mrs. Holley and Okahumpka School.

      In her later years she moved to Plant City, Florida,  when she married again and this time to her
childhood sweetheart. She was a very sweet and kind lady.
