SLONE'S RIDGE CEMETERY

Mascotte, Lake, Fl

                         West of Mascotte off Rte 50

 According to Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia, Captain Slone travelled to Florida from Georgia about 1852. He homesteaded a piece of land since known as Slone's Ridge about three miles west of Mascotte, FL. The cemetery is on private property and has a fence around it.  Following is a census of that cemetery:
                        
                           Besides the names listed below there are also 10 wooden crosses unmarked.
