Taylor Memorial Cemetery

Howey-in-the-Hills, Fl

DIRECTIONS TO TAYLOR MEMORIAL CEMETERY: Starting at Howey-in-the-Hills Town Hall near the blinking traffic signal at Central and Palm Ave., travel south on Florida highway 19 approximately 1 mile to cemetery on right.

Names, dates, and inscriptions are in all caps as observed on site; notes and comments are in initial caps and lower case typing. All plot locations are approximations, not legal descriptions, and are presented as an aid to genealogical research. Military veterans are designated with an asterisk, and data requiring clarification are indicated by question marks. Information obtained from Taylor Memorial listing in Volume 5 of the Lake County Cemeteries series of books, is indicated by the § symbol. This book can be found in the Leesburg, FL library in the reference room in section 929.50975922. Originally read by Jackie Haworth and Sue Dygert on June 1, 1983.

Chief of Police Curtis Robbins, Sr. supplied the interment data base from Town records, and Les Deatherage completed the reading of the inscriptions April 13, 2002; for official plot locations and sale of plots to town residents, see the Town Clerk at Town Hall, or call (352) 324-2290.
