O'HARA
O'HARRA, I am not sure of the father's name but it was either Curtis P.
O'Harra or H. Allen O'Harra. The father died in Clermont. My
Grandmother was a sister. By the time I met the family the father had
died but the wife was called Aunt Lou and the daughter's name was Edna.
This was in 1944-45. They lived in a house in Clermont and the house
was close to a little lake called Dollar Lake. I was told that they
owned a hotel in Clermont but think they lost it. Now that I have
become interested in Genealogy all relatives have died who could have
told me his name. Would like to know if he was Curtis P. or H. Allen.
Need HELP. Thanks to any help you can give me. Dollie Beller

was Lake Griffin and the Pip place.
Would anyone happen to know the location this may be?

Hills. He came to Florida from Georgia. His father was GREEN BRANTLEY.

LOUGHLIN - ZINSSER
Shawn Marbette LOUGHLIN
Searching for any and all information on my great-grandparents, Louis
Henry ZINSSER and Hattie Selena ZINSSER (maiden name I believe was
Jones?).
Along with the information I was able to extract from the 1920 Census,
this is all I know:
LOUIS HENRY ZINSSER b 1 Oct 1886 (or 2 Oct 1886), d 11 May 1977 in
Pinellas County with residences in 33572 APOLLO BEACH, HILLSBOROUGH, FL
and 33758 ST.PETERSBURG. FL. Also resided and owned land in SAFETY
HARBOR, FL. Trade was "ELECTRICIAN," age at time of 1920 Census was 33
yrs. and one child was listed in the 1920 Lake County Census, by the
name of LOUIS D. - I am unable to make out his age at that time. LOUIS
HENRY ZINSSER's place of birth is noted as CONNECTICUT, his father's
place of birth was GERMANY and his mother's place of birth was
CONNECTICUT. There is something written in the left margin of his entry
on the census that I cannot read. His wife was HATTIE SELENA ZINSSER
(maiden name possibly Jones) and she was age 21 at the time of the
census. Her information shows her date of death as 20 Jan 1976, d.o.b.:
20 Jan 1899. HATTIE's place of birth is FLORIDA, her father's place of
birth is NORTH CAROLINA and her mother's place of birth is FLORIDA.
Again she has one child at this time, named LOUIS D. ZINSSER. I know
that they had two other children later named FRANCES LOUISE ZINSSER
(later married to KERMIT ORAN FINCH), and WINTON (I believe), was the
third child's name. I was lucky enough to have known and loved them
both while I was growing up. In the 1960's they lived in SAFETY HARBOR,
FL along with my grandparents, FRANCES LOUISE (ZINSSER) FINCH and
KERMIT ORAN (born ORAN KERMIT FINCH, he had his name legally changed to
reflect the initials "K.O." (FINCH)). My grandfather came from the
CAROLINA's as well. I'm looking for marriage records, school, land
ownership, occupational, births and deaths, any information that I can
use to construct for my own child, his own family history.THANK YOU!!!!
